The Centenary of Peter Carl Fabergé’s Death

The 24th September, 2020 is a significant date for all those connected with the work of Carl Fabergé, as it marks one hundred years since the death of the legendary Russian goldsmith. Katherine Purcell and Kieran McCarthy discuss for the first time an intimate account written by Carl Fabergé’s son Eugene of his father’s final days, which resides in Wartski’s extensive archive.
