centred by an oval cut blue sapphire of approximately 5.2 carats encircled by brilliant cut diamonds, three further diamonds set to each shoulder, mounted entirely in platinum with a finely worked gallery beneath.

The ring is accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report (no. 5782-560) identifying the sapphire as of Burmese origin and showing no signs of heat treatment.
