Gold, Ruby and Diamond


the strap consisting of two rows of articulated yellow gold segments terminating in a clasp formed from two stylised gold scrolls bordered with brilliant cut diamonds, the two halves joined by a row of square cut rubies which lifts up to open the bracelet.

The original gouche design for this bracelet survives in the Boucheron Archive and is illustrated on page 134 of Boucheron: Four Generations of World Renowned Jeweller (Néret, 1988). It is recorded that variants with sapphires and rubies were created between 1937-1939.
