St Petersburg, 1896-1908,

the delicately figured wooden frame centred by a square shaped aperture within a silver panel enamelled translucent pale blue over a wavy guillochage, bordered by chased silver acanthus leaf and laurel leaf borders, punctuated with four silver rosettes in each corner of the enamel, supported on a hinged strut that closes flush to the back of the frame.
