the front and back decorated with translucent navy blue enamel applied over a guillochage of concentric circles with engraved bows and floral garlands and a scalloped edge, a pair of conjoined platinum hearts mounted with diamonds applied to the front, a glazed compartment to the interior, suspended from a platinum chain.

Presented in its original grey leather fitted case, the lid satin stamped “Established 1837. R Stewart, Corner of Buchanan St, Argyle St, Glasgow.”
