An Art Deco Emerald and Diamond Ring

centred with an octagonal emerald, surrounded with a border of eight cut diamonds mounted in platinum with a millegrain setting edge, the shoulders set with rows of five diamonds, the gallery beneath comprising of delicately pierced and engraved laurel leaves with crossed ribbon centres, with a single leaf supporting each shoulder.

Bezel measures 1.2 cm square

Accompanied by a certificate from Gemmological Certification Services in London stating that the emerald is 3.47cts in weight and is Colombian in origin with minor oiling. Their report confirms the emerald has the rare optical effect of ‘gota de aceite’.
