A Victorian Novelty Gem-set Brooch

in the form of two frogs engaged in a sword fight, with one riposting and hitting the other in the stomach, set with oval cut blue sapphires, the bodies mounted with rose cut diamonds in silver and the eyes set with cabochon rubies, both standing on a yellow gold ground line terminating with pearls on either end, the swords in yellow gold.
