the thorax, wings and abdomen set with old European cut diamonds with a stripe of cushion cut blue sapphires, terminating with a single sapphire, the eyes denoted by two circular cut rubies, the antenna and tarsi faithfully recreated in chased yellow gold, a detachable brooch fitting to the reverse.
