of circular form, the lid enamelled with a pastoral scene depicting two amorini fighting the battle of love and bearing the enamelled inscription ‘Combat heureux,’ the sides finely enamelled with floral motifs within gold ropework borders, the base with crowned cypher within acanthus leaf border, the interior decorated with sky blue enamel.

Diameter: 2.4cm
Depth: 0.8cm

This style of enamelling is particularly associated with the Toutin workshop in Paris.
