of oval shape, carved from the finest mottled green Siberian nephrite, the lid inset with a panel of dendritic agate exhibiting a particularly fine moss like inclusion, with a polished yellow gold border, the rim of the lid finished with a yellow gold collar with chase acanthus leaf decoration flanked either side by a single line of opaque white enamel, the thumbpiece mounted with rosecut diamonds.
