A Rare Enamelled Gold Stickpin by René Lalique

depicting a maiden in pate de verre glass in shades of blue, her face in profile turned to the right, her hair decorated with stylised leaves and a cluster of berries in green and deep purple plique-à-jour enamel.

Length: 6.9cm

The symbolist motif is identical to that used on a pair of cufflinks by Lalique which belonged to Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich (1847-1909).
