A platinum mounted diamond-set brooch by Lacloche Frères

in the form of a vase set with circular diamonds bound by a row of baguettes, the base and rim set with calibré-cut diamonds, supporting a large floral spray that cascades down the sides of the vase.

The historicist depiction of urns with over growing trailing flowers appears in several jewels by Lacloche Frères dating from the late 1920’s.
