A painted matt enamel and gold brooch by Eugène Fontenay

mounted in yellow gold, with seven suspended pendants, portraying within a frame of pearls Demeter the Greek Goddess of the harvest, grain and fertility, the painting by enameller Eugène Richet.

5.1 cm in length.

With Fontenay’s maker’s poinçon and the French eagle’s head assay stamp for gold.
