A jewelled hardstone handle by Carl Fabergé,


carved from a single piece of nephrite in the form of a stylised duck’s head, with cabochon ruby eyes, its upturned beak set either side with tapering rose diamonds, the gold mount at the base encircled with a ropetwist decoration.

Contained in its original silk and velvet lined fitted hollywood case, the lid satin stamped in Cyrillic ‘Fabergé, St. Petersburg, Moscow London’, beneath the Imperial warrant
