No.193 of ‘Fabergé and the Russian Jewellers: A Loan Exhibition’ (Wartski, 2006).
No.162 of ‘From Function to Fantasy, The Brooch: From 1200 BCE to the contemporary’ (Wartski, 2025).
The brooch has a detachable diamond-set loop which enables the jewel to be worn as a pendant; a record of the completed jewel in this form survives in the Albert Holmström albums where it is dated 15th September, 1909.
The delicate frame of this jewel, with its continuous trail of laurel leaves and floral motif, is a masterpiece of intricate piercing work.
